Profile Sentences

Hello my name is Calais and I'm from NZ and I go to Awapuni school I have three older sisters. My culture is Maori and Pakeha. 

I am good at netball and surf life saving, I enjoy writing and reading, my challenges are my maths and my goal for the year is to move up a level in maths.

I'm looking forward to this year is my sports. The person who inspires me is my sister's mate Briana Ivring because she is really good at surf life saving, she's really good at sports.

Calais Firework

I learnt how to use scratch today in room 4

I enjoyed making my scratch with my friends and learning how to use scratch

It was easy making the background and making the girl walk

Next time I will stay focused and stop talking to my mates and getting distracted  

Amazing Samoa

This my picture about Samoa.

Because in class were are learning about Rugby World Cup and we got to pick one of the country's that are playing in the Rugby World Cup so we were aloud to pick one of them to learn about. 

Next time I need to add all the city's onto my map and not get distracted well doing my work. 

Voyagers waka

This is my sketching of a waka because we re learning about voyagers.

I enjoyed sketching and shading also how my waka turned out.

Next time I could draw my waka a bit bigger so I will take up most of my page. 

Horse Riding

My slide is a Horse riding report.

I learnt the risk of riding horses.

Next time I need to add a bit more stuff to my slide to make it better.

This is my comic about a play called the Kuia and the Spider.

I liked how the play was funny and not just like the book.

Next time I could add a bit more color to my comic.

This is my Matariki star. I learnt that this stars name is Hiwaiterangi and that its a wishing star. 
Next time I could do better is concentrate better and use a bit more colors.
